An exciting new program has been born at DC through a partnership with the Churches of God in North Georgia. By linking together local congregations in North Georgia with a DC graduate and a Kenyan mentor pastor, NEW CHURCHES ARE BEING BORN!!

Two new churches have been started thus far: Kitale International Church, with Pastor Patrick Adongo, and Community of Hope Christian Centre in Outspan, with Pastor Kenneth Kidiavai. The Kenyan mentors are Bishop David Bwire for the Kitale church and Pr. James Kagari for the church in Outspan.

We have been getting wonderful reports on both congregations. In Kitale, Pastor Patrick has already begun offering the Church of God School of Ministry's Certificate in Ministerial Studies program to the new church members.

We visited Pastor Kenneth's church a couple of weeks ago and were treated to a wonderful time with the more than 20 children who have already started attending who were later joined by the adults. Pictures of this visit are below.

We look forward to a great future for these two churches and for the additional ones which will be started through this program!

The church has purchased the land with a house, well, and garden sitting just beyond the shrubs. The land owner has given permission for the simple church structure to be placed on this portion of land while they continue to discuss the purchase of that section.
